Leeds United 1972 FA Cup Final No8 Retro Shirt
Allan Clarke (pic) holds the FA Cup aloft, after Leeds United’s win in the Centenary FA Cup Final against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on 6 May 1972. Clarke, wearing the No8 shirt, scored the only goal of the game with a diving header from a Mick Jones cross early in the second half. Signed by Don Revie, from Leicester City in June 1969, for a then British record transfer fee of £165,000, Clarke made 364 appearances, and scored 151 goals for Leeds between 1969 and 1978.
